Brazilian Court Failed to Find a Betting Company That Owes BR169,000 to a Player

The player explained they had lost access to withdrawals after earning prize funds.

Key Points:

  • One player reported winning BR169,000 ($44,000) on a betting platform but faced blocks when trying to withdraw.
  • A public notice was announced by the court after failing to find the betting company.
  • The company, MCR 73 Investimento LTDA, received a twenty-day timeframe to answer or the court might accept the player’s account.

The Court of Justice of the Federal District and Territories in Brazil posted a public notice to MCR 73 Investimento LTDA. A user said that this betting operator still owes BR169,000 for winnings they could not take out. According to this person, they played on the platform and collected the full prize using Fortune Tiger, a game many Brazilians know, but then withdrawals were unavailable.

Attempts to Contact the Company Failed

Several times, no company representatives could be found: first, the player tried to contact MCR 73 Investimento LTDA, then the court also couldn’t link any contact details or regular address to the operator. It is useful to note, Brazil made nearly BR4 billion in betting tax during the first half of 2025. In light of those failures, the local judge entered an official notice into the public record.

Under the latest notice, MCR 73 Investimento LTDA has twenty business days to provide an answer, and if no answer comes, then under Brazil’s civil procedure, the player’s claim might count as true. Earlier in the year, the courts cleared several influencers of wrongdoing for promoting Fortune Tiger, even one who was jailed for two months before being acquitted.
