Fanatics Markets has rolled out a new feature called Combos, adding more ways to trade on its prediction market platform. The product allows users to group several event outcomes into a single contract, using infrastructure supplied by Crypto.com.
The feature gives users the ability to combine different market types such as player props, moneyline selections, point spreads and totals. These combinations can span multiple sports or focus on several events within one game.
According to the company, Combos are already available across baseball, boxing, football, hockey, MMA, basketball, soccer and tennis, with plans to extend coverage to additional sports.
Parlay Mechanics Adapted to Prediction Market Structure
At a functional level, the product follows the same logic as parlays in traditional sportsbooks. Users create a contract made up of several legs, with the condition that every selected outcome must be correct for the contract to pay out.
As more legs are added, the probability of success declines. This reduces the entry price while increasing the potential return. Fanatics Markets has also enabled combinations that link unrelated outcomes. A single contract could include an NBA player points line, the result of an MLB game and the outcome of a tennis match.
The approach signals an attempt to make prediction market trading familiar to users who already understand accumulator-style betting.
Rising Market Activity Drives Product Innovation
The launch comes at a time when prediction markets are attracting attention from both retail traders and institutional participants. Unlike sportsbooks, these platforms operate as exchanges where users trade positions tied to event outcomes.
Prices shift based on sentiment and implied probability, creating a structure closer to financial markets. Industry estimates suggest global prediction market trading volume could approach $240 billion by the end of the year, assuming no major regulatory disruption.
Sports-related contracts account for around 60% of that activity, reinforcing the link between sports engagement and event-based trading.
Infrastructure, Access and Risk Controls Impact Rollout
All trades on Fanatics Markets are executed through Crypto.com’s federally regulated prediction market infrastructure.
The app is currently available on iOS and Android across 24 US states and four territories. Alongside product development, the company has integrated risk management tools to manage user behaviour, such as deposit limits, session controls, timeouts and self-exclusion features.
The inclusion of these tools aligns with a growing expectation for platforms to balance product expansion with consumer protection measures.
Fanatics Markets has spiced up its offerings with a new feature called Combos. Like parlays, this helps you combine related or unrelated outcomes into a single contract. The trades are powered by Crypto.com’s top-tier infrastructure.
