DATA.BET Expands Prediction Markets With Crypto ‘Up or Down’

Sportsbook provider DATA.BET has expanded its prediction markets product with a crypto-focused ‘Up or Down’ market type, data widgets and API integration. The update follows April 2026 entry into prediction markets, covering politics, geopolitics, finance, technology, crypto, economy, culture and weather.

Operators can offer markets on whether an asset will move above or below a defined price target. Settlement periods run across five minutes, 15 minutes, one hour, four hours and daily, creating opportunities outside the sports calendar.

DATA.BET has introduced widgets showing live asset prices, target lines and settlement countdowns. Its Crypto and Finance categories include live and historical data for Bitcoin, Ethereum, gold and oil.

“Prediction Markets was built to give operators a fast-moving, always-on offering that runs independently of the sports calendar,” said Rostyslav Likhtin, Head of Product at DATA.BET. “We’re making it faster to trade, easier to read, and easier to deploy, and this is only the first step in how far we’re taking this.”

DATA.BET looks to prediction markets for another revenue stream

The launch comes as gambling and prediction market providers search for differentiation. DATA.BET has highlighted bet builders as a revenue driver, at the 2026 World Cup.

Prediction markets are a new focus for the brand. The company said its original launch aimed “to reduce the structural complexity typical for exchanges”, while the latest update is its first expansion since entering the sector.

DATA.BET is building prediction market products to behave like a continuous engagement product. Short crypto settlement windows will give operators an always-on revenue stream, but its effect on improving user activity are yet to be determined.
