Ex-DraftKings SVP joins FIRST.bet as co-CEO

FIRST.bet has appointed former DraftKings executive Ian Bradley as co-CEO with founder Tom Light. This move strengthens the company’s leadership and expands its business-to-business operations.

Bradley assumed the role earlier this month after leaving DraftKings, where he spent more than six years as Senior Vice President and Managing Director of the company’s B2B division.

Founder Says Appointment Signals Company Ambition

Before joining DraftKings, Bradley held senior leadership positions at SBTech, including Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Product Officer. His industry experience also includes roles at Sporting Index and Sporting Solutions.

In addition to becoming co-CEO, Bradley will join FIRST.bet as a partner. The appointment reunites him with Light after the pair previously worked together at SBTech.

Light described Bradley as “one of the most respected leaders” in the gambling industry, hoping he could temporarily bring him into the business.

“I’ve wanted him alongside me at FIRST.bet for some time,” Light said.

Bradley Targets International B2B Growth

“That he’s only now free to join tells you how highly DraftKings valued him. Asking Ian to run the business with me as co-CEO is the clearest statement of intent we could make: FIRST.bet is building the platform serious operators choose, and together we’ll get there faster,” he continued.

Bradley also commented on his appointment. “Running the company alongside Tom as co-CEO is exactly the challenge I wanted next. The opportunity in B2B right now – across Latam, Europe and beyond – is enormous.”

First.bet has appointed Ian Bradley as co-CEO to run operations alongside its founder Tom Light. Bradley’s experience across prior roles like Senior Vice President, Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Product Officer will contribute significantly to the company’s growth over the coming years.
