The goal is to make BetBlocker’s software easier for Finland gamblers so new people can use it in the Finnish language.
Details to Note
- BetBlocker gave users a Finnish language option for the self-exclusion application.
- Partnership with Casino Guru helped make this possible.
- Global user numbers go up, for example, Brazil has 20,000 active users. Serbian, Japanese, and French versions were added.
BetBlocker said it is offering Finnish language gambling block software, meaning many more users in Finland can use free help in their own language. Casino Guru worked with BetBlocker and gave assistance so that more people in new places can know about it. Founder Duncan Garvie from BetBlocker thanked Casino Guru for continuous help and said the company helps the charity reach more people every year.
Expanding Access
Garvie stated that Casino Guru spent time and money to grow BetBlocker and spread news to their readers about available support. This Finnish rollout matches BetBlocker’s plan to add more languages to increase world access. BetBlocker’s past experience shows that new language launches bring higher involvement, mainly for those facing hard times, wanting support. BetBlocker blocks more than 90,000 gambling sites and 1,500 gambling apps for users.
Global Growth
Recent expansion comes after big progress in other places; Brazil became the fastest-growing area and crossed 20,000 active users since January 2025. Success in Brazil happened after the Portuguese language version was released in September 2024, aimed at the new regulated gaming section there. The charity has started language launches for Serbian and Japanese in the last few months. BetBlocker built stronger links in North America by joining the National Council on Problem Gambling as the only Gold Non-Profit Member.
