SBC has announced the five individuals who will enter its Hall of Fame class of 2026. The ceremony will take place later this month on 28 September at 15:30 at Palácio Estoril Hotel in Lisbon, Portugal, during the SBC Leaders Summit, held one day before SBC Summit 2026 begins.
The 2026 inductees are Khalid Ali, CEO of the International Betting Integrity Association; David Natroshvili, Founder of Spribe; Jason Robins, Co-Founder and CEO of DraftKings; Karen Marcela Sierra-Hughes, Vice President of Latin America, Caribbean & Spain at Gaming Laboratories International; and Mor Weizer, CEO of Playtech.
“When I look at this year’s five inductees, what strikes me is how much ground they cover between them. Entrepreneurship, technology, integrity, regulation, operator leadership. You don’t often get that in one room. Celebrating them in Lisbon isn’t just about five great careers. It’s a chance to recognise how far our industry has come, and the people who got us here,” Rasmus Sojmark, CEO and Founder at SBC, said.
Hall of Fame reaches its tenth year with broader industry recognition
The SBC Hall of Fame was launched in 2016 as the Sports Betting Hall of Fame. Now in its tenth year, the initiative has expanded to recognise figures across the wider global betting and gaming industry.
This year’s class joins past inductees including Denise Coates, Fred Done, Carsten Koerl, Pontus Lindwall, Victor Chandler, John Anderson, Chris Christie and Norbert Teufelberger. The 2025 class included Esmeralda Britton, Chad Millman, Scotty Schettler and Shelley White.
Ceremony forms part of SBC’s executive gathering in Lisbon
The induction will be held during the SBC Leaders Summit, an invite-only event expected to bring together more than 500 C-level executives. It features closed-door networking, presentations, panel discussions and regional and regulatory roundtables.
Evening activities include a cocktail reception, gala dinner, poker tournament and after-party at Casino Estoril. Attendees will also receive access to the SBC Summit and the Affiliate Leaders Summit, scheduled from 29 September to 1 October at FIL and MEO Arena in Lisbon.
This year’s Hall of Fame class stands out because it reflects the modern iGaming industry’s growth across technology, regulation and operator leadership. SBC’s list recognizes individuals contributing to infrastructure and market development, beyond founders and bookmakers.
