SJM Resorts, being a part of SJM Holdings Limited, said that Casino Grandview in Macau will completely close down on 30 July 2025. The company is closing the casino before the planned date, and this move is within the wider plan for the company’s business and operations. Through an official statement, SJM said each gaming table at Casino Grandview will be sent to other casinos owned by SJM. Any customer who has chips, deposits or cash rebates related to Grandview can collect at Casino Casa Real from 31 July.

Staff Will Be Supported Through Transition

SJM mentioned that all local employees working directly under SJM would be kept and placed in other locations belonging to the casino network. For all staff at Casino Grandview who do not work directly for SJM, the company promises that these people will get first consideration for openings and will help where needed to make the change easier.

It is important to note, under the Gaming Law updated in 2022, all Macau operators must follow compliance standards, and SJM confirmed it works along with the government to keep the gaming industry safe and steady. SJM gave its word it will close Casino Grandview while following every legal rule and will organize the ending process carefully.
