Casino Revenue and Table Games Surge
In July 2025, Jeju Dream Tower recorded KRW43.4 billion ($32.5 million) in casino revenue, with a year-on-year gain of 90.1%. The operator’s report on August 1 stated that this figure beat June’s KRW35.8 billion by 21.3%. Most of the July earnings came from table games, contributing KRW41.6 billion, which was 21% more than the previous month and 99.1% higher than last year. Machine games brought in KRW1.87 billion, showing a 30% monthly improvement but 5.2% lower compared to July 2024.
Record Visitor Numbers
July had a visitor tally of 56,691, which is the highest since the resort’s launch. That was a 10% climb from June and a 65.4% increase over last year’s number. Jeju Dream Tower has one of the seven casino licences issued on Jeju Island. The casino is for foreigners only and has 141 table games and almost 260 slot or electronic gaming machines. The hotel side produced KRW7.88 billion revenue in July, rising 15.4% from June, but still 14.8% behind last July’s KRW9.24 billion.
Year-to-Date Revenue Overview
Total casino revenue from January to July 2025 was KRW238 billion, which is up by 49.3% from last year. Table games alone earned KRW226.2 billion, up 51.4%, while machine games reported KRW11.78 billion, which shows an 18.4% rise. Hotel business for the first seven months stood at KRW43.8 billion, down 10.7%.
The casino started operating in 2021, after Lotte Hotel Jeju’s licence was transferred. Only three casinos are currently active in Jeju. Lotte Tour Development owns the resort and targets international and expatriate guests, as Korean gaming laws allow the casino to operate only for foreigners.
