Dutch Regulator Gives Penalty Order to Instant Casino for Illegal Betting

The EOD Code got caught by regulators for allowing people in the country to gamble, and the probe ran between November 2024 and March 2025. The KSA supervisor could sign up at Instant Casino by sharing Netherlands details like a phone number with a Dutch code, an action that must be blocked. After making the deposit, the supervisor played casino games, and later visited the website three more times, each time the same account stayed open.

Investigation Findings

KSA checked again last month, found that creating a new player account, depositing money and playing games were still possible. The regulator discovered that Instant Casino supported customer service both in Dutch and in English, and also saw that the Netherlands did not appear as an excluded place in the terms and conditions.

Penalty Details

KSA said the option to select the Netherlands from drop down when signing up and while entering a phone number means the operator targets Dutch users. The investigation ended with KSA ordering Instant Casino to stop giving illegal betting services in the country. Not following this order will make the operator pay €280,000 every week in penalty, and the total can reach €840,000.
