October Brings $260 Million iGaming Record to New Jersey

Total gambling revenue hit $611.1 million in the Garden State during October. Year-on-year growth measured 22.3%. October marked the month when New Jersey’s iGaming operators achieved their highest revenue ever at $260.3 million. All gambling markets across the state expanded compared to the previous year’s figures. $611.1 million represented total gambling revenue for the month, per the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement reports. This exceeded October 2024 by 22.3% and September by 8.4%. New Jersey gambling revenue came primarily from iGaming operations. Sports betting and land-based segments generated smaller amounts. Year-on-year growth percentages favoured sports wagering the most.

iGaming Sets Another New Jersey Record

iGaming revenue surpassed last year’s figures by 21.8% during the month. $250 million became the new threshold crossed for the first time. The state’s August record of $248.8 million fell by 4.8%. $257.7 million came specifically from online slots and table games revenue. These numbers improved 22% from the previous year’s results. $2.6 million in peer-to-peer internet poker revenue reflected 11.1% growth. Golden Nugget worked with FanDuel to generate market-leading $60.9 million revenue. Resorts World and DraftKings placed second, earning $48.5 million together. Borgata joined BetMGM for $33.2 million in third position.

October Sports Betting Revenue Climbs 49.8%

Sports betting produced $116.1 million in monthly revenue after rising 49.8% year-on-year. $110.7 million originated from online betting following a 45.9% growth. $5.4 million retail revenue represented a 242.5% surge. Total handle reached $1.24 billion from customer betting activity in October. This surpassed last October by 10.7% overall. $1.19 billion came through online wagers, with $43.8 million from retail spending. Statewide betting held at 9.39% for New Jersey in October 2025.

Meadowlands and FanDuel led the online sectors, generating $39.9 million in revenue together. Resorts World combined with DraftKings for $30.5 million in second place. Bally’s partnered with BetFanatics, earning $11.4 million. $2.3 million in revenue kept Meadowlands atop retail locations. $1.5 million total monthly revenue placed Borgata as the closest competitor. Individual operators handle stay confidential per New Jersey regulations.

Double-Digit Growth Hits Land-Based Casinos

$174.4 million originated from physical slot machine play after a 9.1% increase. Table games at land-based venues produced $60.3 million in revenue. This sector grew 23.5% beyond October 2024 results. $5.74 billion total gambling revenue accumulated in New Jersey through October’s first 10 months. The same period last year showed 10% lower totals. $2.39 billion in iGaming revenue meant that 22.6% year-to-date growth occurred. $914.6 million sports betting revenue barely exceeded last year by 0.2%. $2.44 billion came from land-based casinos, showing a 3.4% annual increase.
