Tang, at age 35, met the victim via a friend. This month, he took the victim to a Macau casino. The victim gave Tang HKD 1,000 for gambling purposes. They agreed that the winnings would go back to the victim. Tang’s luck changed when he won nearly HKD 569,000. Prize collection happened, but sharing didn’t follow. He tried escaping the casino with all the cash. Casino security received the victim’s complaint after Tang disappeared. Judiciary Police got the case report immediately.

Casino Incident Unfolds: Tang Surrenders After Two Days

November 7 marked the day everything happened at the casino. Tang surrendered to the police after two days had passed. Police said he came for questioning voluntarily. Investigation cooperation never happened from his side. Officers found no cash during the arrest. A mobile phone seizure occurred for evidence purposes.

Judiciary Police stated this case shows a trust violation. The Public Prosecutions Office received the case for processing. Missing funds remain under investigation currently. Other people’s involvement needs verification by investigators.
