GFA Says No to Betting on Ghana Local Leagues

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) made clear again that it does not allow betting on local football games, and every betting company is told not to accept bets on any Ghana domestic league. This order stops wagers on the Ghana Premier League, Division One League, Women’s Premier League, and every other local football event in the country.

Protecting the Integrity of Ghana Football

With this decision, the FA wants to keep the facts of Ghana football honest and stop matches from being changed or controlled in the wrong way. Officials asked people, stakeholders, and teams to tell them if they see someone breaking the rules, and they warned that hard legal steps and control measures are promised for anyone caught.

This rule works with other plans by the FA for the 2025/26 season, built to make rules stronger, guarantee fair games, and keep public confidence in Ghana’s home football competitions.
