Red Rock Resorts has recorded impressive Q2 2025 financial results. Net income surged 55.1% year-over-year to $108.3 million, a significant jump from the $69.8 million reported in Q2 2024. The performance was boosted by the strength of the company’s core Las Vegas operations, contributing $513.3 million in revenue.
Furthermore, total net revenue for the quarter rose 8.2% to $526.3 million, while adjusted EBITDA climbed 13.7% to reach $229.4 million. Diluted earnings per share rose to $0.95 from $0.59 in Q2 2024, showing the company’s increased profitability. Operating income also saw a solid rise, reaching $168 million, up from $140.2 million in the previous year’s quarter.
Tribal Partnerships Add $10 Million Boost
A notable factor in the Q2 performance was a one-time $10 million gain from the company’s Native American development segment. This business line, which posted no revenue in Q2 2024, reflects Red Rock’s ongoing tribal partnerships and potential for long-term collaboration. Casino revenue for the period increased 7.9% to $344.8 million, while food and beverage income went up by 2.9% to reach $94.4 million. Room revenue was boosted to $51.2 million, and other revenue sources contributed an additional $25.9 million.
Costs Rise, But Margins Hold
While top-line figures remained strong, operating costs also climbed. Casino expenses rose 6.8% to $93.9 million, and food and beverage costs increased 2.2% to $75.9 million. Despite these increases, the company maintained solid margins due to its effective cost management and high-margin Las Vegas business.
On a six-month basis, Red Rock reported total revenue of $1.02 billion, a 5% increase from the first half of 2024. Adjusted EBITDA for the first half stood at $444.4 million, reflecting an 8.2% year-over-year improvement.
Shareholder Returns and Balance Sheet
The company declared a third-quarter 2025 dividend of $0.25 per share. This brings its year-to-date payout to $1.50 per share. Red Rock ended the quarter with $145.2 million in cash and equivalents, while total debt remained steady at $3.4 billion.
Las Vegas remains the company’s dominant revenue engine, accounting for 97.5% of Q2 revenue. The remaining 2.5% came from tribal operations and minor corporate contributions.
In Q1 2025, Red Rock accrued revenue of $497.9 million flat year-on-year. However, they managed a 9.7% increase in net income and an adjusted EBITDA of $215.1 million. The company held $159.6 million in cash at the end of this quarter, a slight drawdown from the Q2 figures but still a strong financial position.
