The Orlando Magic has signed a multi-year partnership with Hard Rock Bet, making it the team’s first Official Sportsbook Partner. This is⁵⁵ the first time in the basketball club’s history that it has teamed up with a sports betting company. The partnership shows how sports betting is growing across the United States and how Hard Rock Bet is working to increase its presence in major sports.
Hard Rock Bet is currently the only legal sportsbook operating in Florida. It runs under the exclusive sports betting rights of the Seminole Tribe. Through this new deal with the Magic, the company plans to strengthen its position in the state and promote safe and legal sports betting to fans across Florida.
Partnership Brings Branding to Kia Center
As part of the deal, Hard Rock Bet will have a strong presence at the Orlando Magic’s home arena, the Kia Center. The brand will appear in several parts of the venue, including a sportsbook area on the Terrace level, digital signs during games, logos on both basketball hoops and advertisements during live broadcasts.
The partnership aims to promote Hard Rock Bet while also giving Magic fans a better game-day experience. JT McWalters, Senior Vice President of Global Partnerships for the Orlando Magic, said the goal is to offer fans more ways to enjoy games whether they are watching at the arena, at home or online. He added that the team is excited to launch its first partnership linked to sports betting.
Fan Engagement and Promotions
The partnership will also give fans new ways to engage with the team. Magic supporters in Florida will enjoy special offers, promotions and themed game nights. A key part of the deal is the Hard Rock Bet Magic Club, which fans can join for free through the Hard Rock Bet app.
Members of the club will get rewards such as bonus offers, chances to win game tickets and exclusive fan experiences. Hard Rock Bet executive Nick Menas said the goal is to give fans exciting and responsible ways to enjoy sports while staying connected to the Magic.
Growing Sports Betting Footprint
The partnership comes as sports betting continues to grow in the United States, with more teams teaming up with betting companies to engage fans. Hard Rock Bet is also expanding in other states, including New Jersey, where it partnered with RLX Gaming to add online casino games like Temple Tumble and The Great Pigsby.
Experts say Florida will be a key market for sports betting, and since Hard Rock Bet is the only legal sportsbook in the state, its deal with the Orlando Magic could strongly shape fan betting habits. Both sides say the partnership will promote safe betting while creating new and exciting fan experiences.
