Michigan Raises FY2025 iGaming and Sports Betting Revenue by 29.5% to $3.8bn

According to the Michigan Gaming Control Board, December 2025 and FY2025 activity shows revenue growth of 29.5% to $3.8bn. For the full year, iGaming generated $3.1bn, with internet sports betting producing $671.3m in additional revenue. Adjusted Gross Receipts (AGR) for Fiscal Year 2025 come in at a massive $3.3 billion, which is a 39.5% year-over year bump from last year’s AGR, and is north of $3.3 billion.

Michigan’s Online Gaming and Sports Betting Revenue Surges in FY2025

Michigan is also raking in the cash from internet sports betting, a whopping $5.4 billion across Fiscal Year 2025, up by about a cool hundred million from the previous year. Throughout FY2025, operators delivered $624.6 million in taxes and payments to the state. This sum includes $597.5m from iGaming and $27.1m from internet sports betting contributions. During the same period, Tribal operators provided $71.9 m in payments to governing bodies. In addition, three casinos reporting sports betting activity contribute $161.4m in wagering taxes and municipal service fees.

iGaming and internet sports betting delivered $399.8 m revenue in December 2025, recording a 51.3% rise versus the prior year period. For the same month, adjusted gross receipts AGR total $357.9m, confirming growth of 62.7% in reported gaming results. Data for Michigan shows the December 2025 internet sports betting handle reached $512.9m, representing a decline of 14.2% year-over-year. State records confirm operators pay $66.3m in taxes during December 2025, while Tribal operators remit $8.5m to governing bodies. When measured against December 2024, iGaming revenue climbs 35.1% to $296.7m, and internet sports betting revenue rises $61m to $61.1m.
