Kwara United FC will now display BC.Game’s brand on their kits for the rest of the Nigerian football season, and there is a chance the deal could last longer.
Key Points
- BC.Game became the sponsor for both home and away shirts of Kwara United.
- The agreement covers one Nigerian Premier Football League season, with a possible extension.
- Kwara United plays in the top level of Nigerian professional football.
BC.Game has taken the main sponsorship role for Kwara United FC in the 2025/26 Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) season. Recently, BC.Game entered the African market and just last week it got two licences in Kenya through its company, Blockdance Africa. Now their brand will go onto Kwara United’s home and away kits; this club has played in the top league after its 2017 promotion.
Partnership Details
The club’s matches take place in a stadium with 18,000 seats located in Ilorin, Kwara State’s capital, and you will also see the BC.Game logos around the stadium and on the club’s digital channels. Good to know: In the 2000s, Kwara United qualified for the CAF Confederation Cup while managed by Johan Eriksson, whose father was England manager Sven Goran-Eriksson.
BC.Game’s Market Moves
This partnership gives both parties an option to keep working together after this season, but at present, the agreement stands for just one football year. In late 2024, BC.Game let go of its Curaçao licence because reports showed that its companies in that region went bankrupt after some players took legal steps against them. BC.Game said the exit was for compliance needs, not due to law or money problems, and disagreed with all accusations regarding financial matters.
