All three main sectors showed increases in the New Jersey market. November brought $636.2 million in total gambling revenue for New Jersey. Last year’s November numbers fell 14.2% below this result, according to the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement. October’s $611.1 million also trailed by 4.1% compared to November. Each of the three core sectors demonstrated growth patterns. October trends continued with iGaming and sports betting showing the strongest gains.
iGaming Income Hits $253 Million
Monthly iGaming revenue totalled $253 million for the period. This figure exceeded last year by 18.2% but missed October’s record $260.3 million by 2.8%. Slots and table games produced $250.8 million from total iGaming revenue with 18.5% growth. Internet poker revenue dropped to $2.2 million, showing 4.6% yearly decline. FanDuel, with Golden Nugget partner, dominated the sector, earning $60.2 million in revenue. DraftKings and Resorts World held second position at $49.6 million. BetMGM and Borgata’s partnership secured third place with $30.6 million.
New Jersey Sports Betting Income Jumps 23% Yearly
Sports betting revenue grew to $146.3 million, marking a 23% yearly increase. October numbers fell behind by 26% though January 2024’s record $170.8 million remained unmatched. Online betting created $142.5 million in revenue, showing 24% yearly growth. Retail revenue decreased to $3.9 million, with 6% decline impacting total market expansion. Players wagered $1.28 billion total, representing 4.9% yearly and 3.2% monthly increases. Online accounted for $1.22 billion while retail contributed $60.5 million. November’s statewide hold percentage reached 11.41%. New Jersey publishes revenue data only for state operators. Meadowlands and FanDuel earned $61.5 million, leading online revenue. DraftKings and Resorts World followed with $38.3 million. BetFanatics and Bally’s generated $11.1 million. Hard Rock led retail with $1.6 million in revenue. Meadowlands earned $1.1 million in second place. Borgata collected $411,859 for third position.
Casino Income Exceeds $236 Million
Land-based casinos generated $236.8 million, showing 5.7% yearly and 0.9% monthly growth. Slot machine win increased to $169.8 million with a 1.3% rise. Table game revenue reached $67 million after a 19.1% monthly increase. Year-to-date gambling revenue totalled $6.38 billion through November end. Previous year comparison showed 10.4% improvement overall. iGaming revenue rose to $2.64 billion with a 22.2% increase. Sports betting revenue grew to $1.06 billion, showing 2.8% gain. Land-based casino revenue reached $2.68 billion with 3.6% growth.
