Spelinspektionen Prohibits CGG Entertainment Ltd

The Cases.gg website targets the Swedish market without a proper licence. CGG Entertainment Ltd is registered in Cyprus and operates cases.gg platform. Players join lotteries for goods and buy mystery boxes there. Stakes get lost or prizes get won through these games. The Swedish Gambling Authority, Spelinspektionen, investigated this company’s operations. These games reached Swedish players without a required licence illegally.

The regulator’s inspection found website changes with Swedish IP addresses. The Swedish text appeared, and the Swedish flag showed on the pages. Spelinspektionen saw enough indicators to take action immediately. CGG Entertainment Ltd received a complete ban on providing games in Sweden. CGG Entertainment released a statement about regulatory action afterwards. The company states it intends to comply with Swedish legislation now. They blocked Swedish users from the platform and card payments from Sweden.

The Swedish regulator checked the website after the company communicated this statement. The site still showed Swedish text and references in the Swedish language. These elements break the country’s gambling law requirements. Sweden pursues a mission to increase legal gambling market channelisation to 90%. The country wants more players to use regulated gambling options. The September 2025 report showed channelisation stands at 85% currently. 15% of online gambling happens on the black market in the nation. Industry and Government organisations debate improvement methods constantly. Both sides want better channelisation figures moving forward.
