The ACMA asked Australian internet service providers (ISPs) to block more illegal gambling and affiliate sites after investigations showed they breached the Interactive Gambling Act 2001.
The latest blocked websites are:
- Slot Lounge
- Betzillo
- FastSpin99
- Spinit
- PokiesPros
Blocking websites is one option the ACMA uses to protect Australians from illegal gambling. Since November 2019, the ACMA has requested the blocking of 1,322 gambling and affiliate websites. About 220 illegal gambling services have left the Australian market since ACMA enforced the new rules in 2017.

The ACMA is bringing to the attention of consumers that even when a service appears to be legitimate, it may not include important customer protections. Also reports that Australians who put money into illegal gambling services see that as a risk. The ACMA has a register that reports if a gambling service is licensed to operate in Australia.
