Gambling.com Group Moves into Las Vegas with Spotlight.Vegas Acquisition

Gambling.com Group has signed an agreement to acquire Spotlight.Vegas, a Las Vegas-focused platform offering ticketing, attractions, and hotel bookings. The deal signifies a strategic expansion for the group beyond its core online gambling operations.

With this acquisition, the company adds a new revenue stream and opens relationships with key players in Las Vegas. Gambling.com Group expects the deal to be accretive to its full-year 2026 financial results. Spotlight.Vegas will be integrated into the group’s growing brand portfolio, including RotoWire, BonusFinder, and Freebets.com.

Unlocking New Clients and Local Partnerships

They provide a one-stop booking platform for Las Vegas visitors. Its partnerships with shows and hotels give Gambling.com Group immediate access to a high-traffic audience and a new category of clients. These include land-based casinos and entertainment operators, two groups the company has not traditionally targeted.

This deal opens doors to a broader set of clients and partners. It supports our goal to build a business that operates across the gambling, entertainment, and hospitality industries”, said Charles Gillespie, CEO of Gambling.com Group.

The acquisition fits into a list of strategic diversification moves. Previous deals, such as the acquisition of OddsJam and OpticOdds, helped the company enhance its data and affiliate capabilities. This latest move is part of a long-term plan to deepen its role across the wider gambling and entertainment ecosystem.

Financial Growth Supports Strategic Expansion

Gambling.com Group recently reported Q2 2025 revenue of $39.6 million, representing a 30% increase compared to the same period last year. Adjusted EBITDA for the quarter reached $13.7 million, up 22% year-on-year.

The company also reaffirmed its 2025 full-year guidance, signaling continued momentum in revenue and profitability. This financial strength has given the group room to pursue high-impact acquisitions like Spotlight.Vegas without slowing core business operations.

Earlier in the year, Gambling.com Group announced governance updates, including the appointment of Jayme Mendal, CEO of EverQuote, to its board as a Class II director.

Building a Broader Entertainment Offering

With the acquisition of Spotlight.Vegas, Gambling.com Group expands its footprint from digital gambling to real-world entertainment. The company now operates in a key U.S. tourism hub, offering end-to-end services for digital and physical experiences.

This reflects a trend across the industry, where online operators create value by connecting digital platforms with live entertainment. Gambling.com Group positions itself at the center of the shift. Spotlight.Vegas’ acquisition is a step toward delivering more comprehensive experiences to users and building value in the market long-term.
