After the initial login and account linkage, the system handles all future payments automatically.

Yape One Shot Adds Flexibility and Speed

In addition to Yape On File, the partnership introduces the Yape One Shot feature. This solution allows users to authorise individual transactions without entering any personal or banking information at the time of purchase. It suits on-demand services like food delivery or ecommerce purchases, where customers seek quick and secure checkout options.

By reducing friction and improving user experience, Yape One Shot plays a key role in expanding the accessibility of online shopping and services in Peru. The system leverages the mobile app’s existing popularity, with Yape already facilitating over 817 million transactions per month for its more than 14 million users.

Smart Routing for PayOuts: A First in Peru

Beyond consumer convenience, the alliance brings a technological breakthrough to the market. ProntoPaga is the only company in Peru offering Smart Routing for digital withdrawals, also known as PayOuts. This technology allows merchants to process withdrawals of up to S/3,500 per transaction through a single API. So, users enjoy faster and more efficient fund dispersal to digital wallets and bank accounts.
