Aristocrat Announces Major Leadership Changes
Aristocrat Leisure announced leadership changes across two strategic business units, appointing new executives for the Interactive and Corporate Affairs divisions. The company confirmed that current Aristocrat Interactive CEO Moti Malul will exit in March 2026, after completing his notice period. Malul earlier guided NeoGames through its Aristocrat acquisition and launched Aristocrat Interactive 18 months ago.
Dylan Slaney, after a global search, was named as the incoming CEO of Aristocrat Interactive, starting 3 November 2025, pending regulatory approvals. Slaney previously held senior roles at Light & Wonder, NYX, and SG Digital, and he will work from London. Slaney’s appointment marks a reverse trend, since Aristocrat executives earlier joined Light & Wonder, including CEO Matt Wilson and Gaming CEO Siobhan Lane. Both suppliers remain involved in an ongoing legal dispute.
Aristocrat Interactive Formed Following NeoGames Acquisition
Natalie Toohey, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer for seven years, will resign to seek new opportunities, while supporting the transition as a consultant. Aristocrat Interactive was created after acquiring NeoGames, aiming for leadership in the iLottery and iGaming market segments.
Barry French will succeed Toohey, taking the expanded position of Chief Corporate Affairs & Marketing Officer immediately. He brings three decades of telecommunications, defence, and technology sector experience, including roles at Inmarsat and Nokia, and he will be based in Las Vegas.
Both Dylan Slaney and Barry French will directly report to Aristocrat CEO and Managing Director Trevor Croker, joining the Executive Steering Committee. Trevor Croker expressed confidence in the appointments, citing strong leadership records and alignment with Aristocrat’s long-term growth strategy.
