QMRA Expands Affiliate Certification Across the US Market

Quality Mark Responsible Affiliates (QMRA) has officially launched its affiliate certification program across the United States. The move includes the release of its newly developed QMRA USA Cod. This regulatory framework is designed to align with state-level gaming legislation in the US while incorporating their core responsible gambling.m principles.

QMRA was founded in the Netherlands in February 2024 as a successor to the Dutch Keurmerk Verantwoorde Affiliates. With members such as Game Lounge, Leadstar Media, Gentoo Media, E2 Communications, and iGaming.com, the organization has established itself as an affiliate compliance leader. The US launch follows a successful experimental phase earlier this year in Michigan. During this period, Time2Play.com became the first American platform to receive QMRA certification.

QMRA USA Code Sets New Compliance Benchmark

The new QMRA USA Code is a region-specific adaptation of the organisation’s existing compliance framework. It is tailored to address the varying legal standards across different US states and enhances them with its responsible affiliate marketing criteria. The initiative aims to build more trust and consistency in affiliate activities within the US gambling ecosystem.

The code highlights key principles, such as ethical marketing, data protection, and player safety, which QMRA believes are central to long-term sustainability. By creating comprehensive and localised standards, they seek to bridge the gap between US gambling regulations and global best practices.

WSN.com Becomes First Nationwide Certified Affiliate

As part of the nationwide rollout, WSN.com, a sports betting portal under Gentoo Media, has become the first affiliate site to receive full QMRA certification. According to Semrush data, WSN.com attracts more than 100,000 monthly organic visits, underscoring its reach and influence in the US market.

This certification is a significant milestone for Gentoo Media, which has maintained a strong partnership with the organization since inception. The two companies have previously collaborated in European markets, and extending this relationship into the US reflects increased demand for credible affiliate operations.

Global Strategy Gains Momentum

QMRA’s US expansion is part of its international growth strategy, which includes a recent move into the Australian market. The organisation is actively working to become the global benchmark for responsible affiliate certification in online gambling.

Founder Steven Vrolijk commented, “The US market represents both an exciting challenge and a huge opportunity. Our members continue to guide us toward regions that matter most to them, and we are committed to helping raise compliance standards and trust signals wherever we go.”
