This deal also transfers Racing Women’s intellectual property and worldwide rights, while keeping an option available to expand towards full ownership in the future. Matthew McGahan, Chairman, President & CEO of SEGG Media, explained that acquiring Racing Women strengthens confidence in its platform and secures shareholder value while placing Sports.com at the forefront of women’s motorsport globally. The decision followed the Sports.com Nations Trophy event hosted at Donington Park, featuring eight Racing Women competitors representing seven different countries on track.

SEGG Media unveiled Sports.com Studios, establishing a new LatAm hub for sports content creation, with its first series, “Maximo Futbol”, scheduled to premiere on 30 September. Graeme Glew, Founder of Racing Women, stated that after supporting women’s motorsport entry since 2003, the deal represents the most important announcement experienced in recent years. He added that with women’s empowerment and STEM initiatives influencing motorsport, Sports.com becomes the right partner for Racing Women to accelerate growth and inspire female engagement worldwide.
